{"id":5099,"date":"2019-09-26T16:40:34","date_gmt":"2019-09-26T14:40:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/benk.ch\/?p=5099"},"modified":"2021-02-02T12:05:04","modified_gmt":"2021-02-02T11:05:04","slug":"choose-an-apprenticeship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.benk.ch\/en\/uncategorized\/choose-an-apprenticeship\/","title":{"rendered":"Choose an apprenticeship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Apprenticeship<\/strong> &#8211; or <strong>initial vocational training <\/strong>&#8211; is possible according to two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Full-time apprenticeship in trade school:<\/strong><br>25 full-time vocational training courses in schools in a wide range of sectors (machinery industry, automotive, wood, sewing, health, applied arts, watchmaking, IT and multimedia). <br><strong>Apprenticeship at a trade school leads to a Federal Certificate of Qualification (FCC \/CFC)<\/strong> to enter the labour market or continue training.<\/li><li> <strong>Dual apprenticeship or company apprenticeship:<\/strong><br>200 professions, practised as apprenticeships in companies, to obtain a federal certificate of professional training (<strong>AFP<\/strong>) or a federal certificate of competence (<strong>CFC)<\/strong>, allowing them to enter the labour market or continue their training.<br> <br>Apprenticeship is part of secondary level II in the Swiss education system.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Not easy to find your professional orientation<br> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Finding a job and an apprenticeship is not so easy for a teenager or young adult.<br><br>How to select a profession? Do we have to do internships? Should you test your skills in a company? What are the solutions? Solutions must correspond to each individual according to his or her personal interests, intellectual and manual capacities as well as affinities with each profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many apprentices find themselves in trades that do not suit them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For both parents and children, these are times that can be complex. It is often a source of tension and sometimes even conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our mission and objectives as experienced coaches at Benk is to help the teenager, or young adult, to find their academic and professional orientation, through tailor-made support.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to find your academic and professional orientation?<br><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Personal support in relation to the field and the apprentice: find jobs based on personal skills and interests<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>find an internship to confirm the future professional choice,<\/li><li>have a good CV and strong cover letters,<\/li><li>develop <strong>learning strategies<\/strong>,<\/li><li>improve memory and <strong>academic performance<\/strong>,<\/li><li>increase social and <strong>professional skills<\/strong><\/li><li>learn to integrate into the company,<\/li><li>remain confident, motivated, autonomous, manage emotions and fears well<\/li><li>develop <strong>a strong and winning mindset<\/strong>.<br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The solutions are a clever mix of the listed points that require reflection, introspection and personal organization.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apprenticeship &#8211; or initial vocational training &#8211; is possible according to two options: Full-time apprenticeship in trade school:25 full-time vocational training courses in schools in a wide range of sectors (machinery industry, automotive, wood, sewing, health, applied arts, watchmaking, IT and multimedia).
